The music was really good IMO, though obviously TF outdid it. It certainly sold a heck of a lot better! I think for that reason there's probably people out there who preferred Returns to TF. From Charles Cecil, creator of the Broken Sword series, with art direction by Dave Gibbons, legendary comic book artist behind Watchmen, comes Beyond a Steel. The level design was solid, it was packed with levels, and it was the first time in many years we saw a 2D DK like the DKC games. I think you could even make an argument that Returns is better. Now, I still think TF ended up being the better game by quite a bit, but Returns really was no slouch either. Why no Switch version? I haven't played the game since it released on the Wii, I'd love to replay it again it was a great game. The Wii version sold very very well, and I imagine the 3DS one did alright.
I know it was already ported over to the 3DS and got rid of the forced motion stuff, but why not remaster it for the Switch? I never even thought about this until now.
